The House of Representatives has sworn in Dorathy Mato to replace Honourable Herman Hembe at the House.
Mrs Mato, who now represents Vandeikiya/Konshisha federal constituency of Benue State, was inaugurated on Tuesday in Abuja by the Speaker of the House, Honourable Yakubu Dogara.
Her inauguration comes more than two weeks after the Supreme Court reaffirmed its judgment ordering Hembe’s sack and directed him to return all salaries and allowances collected before his removal from office.
The five-man panel of the court, headed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, had also on September 20, struck out Hembe’s application seeking a review of the judgment on the ground that the law does not allow the court to review its own judgment whether rightly or wrongly taken.
