Jose Mourinho is ready to take over from Louis Van Gaal at Manchester United before the end of the season, according to reports.The Portuguese, since he left Chelsea have been on United radar, and it seems the two party may have reached an agreement.
Mourinho has already signed a deal with Manchester United to take over as manager, although he isn’t expected to assume control at Old Trafford until the summer.
It is understood that the current coach, Louis Van Gaal, is to continue training at United until the end of the season, unless there is disaster in the near future, according to a Spanish website, COPE.
United had a successful outing against Stoke with a comfortable 3-0 win, suggesting an improvement in form for Van Gaal’s side.
Why Van Gaal left the effort to succeed in his games until now is unknown, however, 18 months have condemned his tenure for many.
Van Gaal arrived in England with a huge ego and equally large trophy cabinet, but the 5-3 defeat to Leicester City last term fundamentally ruined his best laid plans.
Jose Mourinho had formerly worked as an interpreter to Louis Van Gaal at Fc Barcelona he learned much from the Dutchman’s conscientious style. Both assistant and head coach combined their studious approach to the game and Barcelona won La Liga twice in Van Gaal’s first two years as coach.
Jose has a good league record, the Portuguese has won 8 league titles in four countries.
However, the Manchester united board is yet to decide if Ryan Giggs will continue to serve as assistant to Mourinho.
