Abuja, (An24) – There was a mild drama on Tuesday, February 7, at the Senate as power failure disrupted the screening of an ambassadorial nominee.

The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, which is conducting the exercise for the 46 nominees, had to continue with the screening in darkness when light failed to come on.

‎The committee had already screened six ambassadorial nominees before power was disrupted.

According to report, the Clerk of the Committee used a torch light to write the nominee’s response to questions.
