Nollywood actor Saheed Balogun on Sunday, February 5, 2017 turned 50th. The talented role interpreter flew to Saudi Arabia to celebrate his golden age.
The actor in a post on his Instagram page explained why he decided to celebrate it in Mecca rather than to throw a birthday bash.
He shared a picture with the caption:
“I thank Almighty Allah, celebrating my birthday in the holy land is my own special way of saying thank you to baba God.”
The Kwara State born actor started acting n 1978, when he presented his first television program titled “Youth Today” on NTA.
He has featured, produced and directed several Nigerian films over the years.
He was married to nollywood actress, Fathia Balogun, whom they shared the same birthday but now separated.
The marriage produced two children Khalid and Aaliyah Balogun.
