Abuja, (An24) – President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday, March 13, officially resume office after spending 51 days in the United Kingdom on a medical leave.

His Spokesman, Mr. Femi Adesina on his official handle said the President will write a former letter to the National Assembly on Monday to officially resume.

Adesina in a tweet added that it will make his return formal.

“PMB will Monday transmit letter to N’ Assembly on his return to the country. That makes his return to work formal, and constitutional.”

The President was however expected back in the country on February 5 and to resume work on Monday, February 6, only to write the National Assembly seeking for an extension indefinitely.

However, the President arrived Nigeria today, putting an end to the controversies surrounding his return to the country.

The presidential jet that conveyed Buhari landed at the Air Force Base in Kaduna at about 7.40am, before he was conveyed in an helicopter to the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
