Senate To Summon Authorities Of ABU, Zaria on Melaye’s Certificate Scandal
The Senate will this week unravel the mystery surrounding the certificate scandal involving one of its members, Senator Dino Melaye as the upper legislative chamber is set to invite authorities of the Ahmadu Bello University to clear the controversy.
Melaye, a vociferous and very asserive member of the parliament has been hit since February 25th of this year, when an online publication, saharareporters broke the news that the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Capital did not graduate from Ahmadu Bello University, where he claimed to have attended.
A source said, “The Senate is inviting the authorities of the Universities Dino Melaye said he attended. Specifically, the Senate is inviting Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) to clear the controversy. The truth will be cleared by ABU this week. All the allegations are rubbish, ABU will not offer anybody admission with three credits.”
