Drama As Senator Dino Melaye Appears At The Senate In Academic Regalia

Abuja, (An24) – There was a mild drama at the Nigerian Senate on Tuesday, March 28, as Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West, appeared at the plenary wearing academic regalia.

The academic rauses stir among senators in chamber.

Recall that Dino Melaye has been in midst of controversies concerning his academic qualifications from Ahamdu Bello Uuniversity, Zaria.

He was however cleared by the Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Professor Ibrahim Garba on Monday, March 27, the VC told the Senate that the Senator graduated from the institution in 2000 with a third class degree in Bachelor of Arts( Honours) in Geography.
