JUST IN: Court Remands Monarch, Others In Prison Over Ife Clash

Osogbo, (An24) – An Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo on Friday, April 28, ordered that the suspects in connection with the Hausa-Yoruba clash in Ife community be remanded in prison pending the commencement of the hearing.

Justice Kudirat Akano of the Osun State High Court gave this order in her ruling.

The suspects including a monarch, Oba Ademola Ademiluyi were arranged on 14 counts charge of armed robbery, murder, arson, others.

The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Justice Akano in her ruling said the six accused persons be remanded in prison custody pending the date hearing.

Commence of the hearing has been adjourned to June 14, 15 and 16.
