BREAKING: Senate Bans UK From Sending Prisoners Back To Nigeria

Abuja, (An24)- The Senate has placed a ban on the transfer of Nigerian citizens imprisoned in the United Kingdom back to the country.
The Senate came to this resolution following a motion moved by deputy senate president Ike Ekweremadu.
The motion was titled “Urgent need to regularize the agreement between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the government of the United Kingdom”.
It held that it was an unfair trade for the UK to return prisoners to Nigeria when the country has no British prison in Nigerian prisons.
