Abuja, (An24) – Senator John Owan Enoh representing Cross River central at the National Assembly, has defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Senator Enoh who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, made the announce during the Senate plenary on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

Speaking on the floor of the senate on Tuesday, the Cross River lawmaker said he had registered as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his ward.

Reacting to the development, members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stood up to welcome Senator Enoh to the party, an action which threw the Chambers into a rowdy session.
