The Department of State Services (DSS) has finally produced Sambo Dasuki, former national security adviser, at the federal high court in Abuja for the trial of Olisa Metuh after much speculation.
Metuh, a former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who is being tried for alleged money laundering, had requested for Dasuki appearance as a witness to defend him in the case.
The DSS had failed to produce the former NSA at the previous sitting.
Dasuki arrived at the court Wednesday morning in the company of DSS operatives.
Dasuki had been in DSS custody since 2015 when he was arrested for allegedly diverting funds meant for purchase of arms.
