#OsunReRun: Final Results Declared By INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the results from the seven polling units where elections were held on Thursday in Osun State, southwest Nigeria.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, secured 835 votes ahead of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Osun state governorship rerun election.

According to the results announced by the electoral umpire at the collation centre in Osogbo, the Osun state capital, the APC polled 1,160 votes in the rerun while PDP secured with 325 votes, leaving a margin of 835.
