Maurizio Sarri has made history as the first Chelsea manager to remain unbeaten in his first nine Premier League games following his side 2-2 draw against Manchester United.

The Blues came into the game undefeated this season, while Manchester United were hoping to build on their dramatic 3-2 victory over Newcastle United before the international break.

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger thumped home a first-half header on the 21st minute to give Sarri’s men the lead at the break.

However, Anthony Martial’s brilliant brace on the 55th and 73rd minutes put Jose Mourinho’s men in the front.

Ross Barkley equalised for the host in the last minute of injury time to ensure Sarri’s unbeaten start as Chelsea boss continued as the game ended Chelsea 2-2 Manchester United.
