Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has reacted to Jose Mourinho’s sacking in an epic way.
Africa News 24 had reported earlier that the 55-year-old Portuguese tactician was sent packing after two and a half years in charge of the Red Devils, who are sixth in the Premier League, 19 points behind league leaders Liverpool, who spanked them 3-1 on Sunday.
A statement released by the club said: “A caretaker-manager will be appointed until the end of the season while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager,” United said in a statement.
“The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.”
Few minutes after Mourinho was shown the door, the controversial French midfielder posted to his Instagram page.
Pogba uploaded a photo of him smirking with his eyes darting to the side. Minutes later he deleted the post.
However, the message next to the picture read: “Caption this.”
His followers captioned the photo with one writing: “Now that your (sic) happy… Its time to make us fans happy again..”
Another added: “…When you heard that your annoying manager just got sacked.”
One posted a crying emoji with the words “When Jose has been sacked’.
