President Muhammadu Buhari has travelled to Dakar, Senegal, to attend the inauguration of Senegalese President, Macky Sall, scheduled to hold tomorrow. This was conveyed in a statement issued by Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman on Monday.
The Buhari- Osinbajo North East Support Groups have endorse senator Mohammed Ali Ndume as Senate President in the 9th national assembly, saying Ndume lead National Assembly will collaborate with the executive to take Nigeria to the next level. The group in a statement signed by its Coordinator Hon. Salisu Sabo said supporters of President Buhari and APC stakeholders from the six states in the North East are canvassing for Senator Ndume.
A High Court sitting in Abuja has discharged and acquitted Adolphus Wabara, a former Senate President from corruption charges preferred against him by the Federal Government. The court also set aside same charges levelled against four others – Garba Matazu, a former house of reps member, Ibrahim Abdulazeez, John Azuta Mbata, both former senators and Fabian Osuji, minister of education, at the time. This is coming 14 years after the lawsuit was filed against them.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said that the Kogi State Government would have been in trouble if he had died in the February 2nd chopper crash in Kabba, Kogi State. He said this while speaking at the Aso Villa Chapel in Abuja on Sunday during a thanksgiving service themed, “The State House Thanksgiving Concert.”

Nigerians have again sought to #EndSARS in reaction to the death of Kolade Johnson, a football fan, who was shot dead by policemen from the Anti-Cultism Unit (SARS) of Lagos State Command. Its was reported earlier that Johnson’s death occurred when an unmarked commercial bus visited Mangoro/Onipetesi community in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, on Sunday afternoon in search of youths dressed wildly and rocking dreadlocks.
