In the order to further enhance better traffic management in Lagos State, His Excellency Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu today had an interactive session with officers of the Lagos State Traffic Management (LASTMA).

Africa News24 (AN24) reports that selected members of the traffic management voiced their challenges which includes adequate working tools, better allowances especially now that work hour has been moved till 11 pm, free medical facilities, working hazard allowance, incentives, security, law enforcement amongst others.

Reacting to their challenges, Sanwo-Olu assured members of the road safety that he would with the General Manager look into the matters, urged them to re-dedicate themselves.

Sanwo-Olu further disclosed that in line with punishing traffic offenders, anyone, family or government official who goes again the stated traffic laws will be pay

“I will tell my cabinet members that if you are caught or apprehended violating my traffic rules, you will pay,” he said.
