Nigerians, politicians have been admonished to put their differences aside and contribute their selfless quota towards the socio-economic development of the country.
The Oba of Lagos, Oba Riliwan Babatunde Akiolu who gave the charge during a special prayer organised for the reign of peace in Lagos and Nigeria, led by the Grand Chief Imam of Lagos, lsiek Suliaman Abou Nola in his palace on Lagos lsland, urged all political office holders in the country to conduct themselves in the fear God, bearing in mind that only God is indispensable.
Oba Akiolu who commended President Muhammadu Buhari for declaring June 12 ,as the true Democracy day in Nigeria, described the move as a step in the right direction to correct the wrongs done many years ago.
The monarch prayed to God to give President Buhari the wisdom to select the right people into his cabinet to fast track the desired prosperity in the nation.
The climax of the gathering was the rendering of prayers by the league of lmam for the monarch, his family members, as well as the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Deputy,Dr Obafemi Hamzat and their cabinet members for a successful tenure in Lagos.
