Just In: Sanwo Declares Lekki, Admiralty Toll Free On Thursday
The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has made a declaration that the Lekki Admiralty toll plaza would be free on Thursday, July 11, during the morning and evening peak hours for vehicles plying the route.
Africa News24 (AN24) reports the toll plaza would be left open between 6.30am -9.30am and 4.30pm -8.00pm.
Speaking to the State House correspondents after a tour of the Victoria Island-Lekki-Ajah axis over traffic gridlock and flooding issues, Sanwo-Olu explained that the decision to make the toll movement free on Thursday is meant to aid the analysis of traffic situation in the area.
He also said that they intend to study the situation carefully and provide solutions to the issue of traffic gridlock in the area.
