Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday called on the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) to accelerate the process of giving approval to the State’s request to build two seaports in Lekki and Badagry.

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu alongside the Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat and other members of his cabinet on Wednesday attended a stakeholders meeting aimed at the proposed regeneration of Lekki-oniru axis, victoria island, Lagos.

Africa News24 understands that one of the major aims of His Excellency Governor Sanwo-Olu is to reduce traffic gridlock in the city.

This online platform reports that Sanwo-Olu further took a tour to inspect traffic points in the Lekki-Ajah axis after which he declared a Thursday, July 11, 2019, a toll-free day.
