There is outrage on the social media over the videos of a 100-level student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure student simply identified as Bolu who was assaulted by her fellow students with all sorts of items.
In the videos posted online, the culprits identified as Obalolu (male), Bimpe, Funmi and Faith were seen brutalising the victim with mopstics, horse whip, belts and landed several slaps and punches on her face.
The viral videos were met with disgust and anger with social media users and personalities calling for the expulsion and prosecution of the culpirts.
In other videos shared online, angry students were seen marching in protest of the brutality, calling for the head of the male culprit, who is said to be the “school father” of one of the female attackers, Faith.
Another video shared showed one of the culprits, Faith in a police station, with angry students issuing threats from outside of the building.
While the cause of the assault is unknown, the victim could be heard saying “what did I do?” in one of the viral clips shared online.
