Popular Nigerian songstresses, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade, reconciled their differences on Monday at Tiwa Savage’s “Everything Savage” concert held at the Eko Convention Centre.
Tiwa surprised fans when she stopped her performance to share nice words about her perceived rival before introducing her to the jubilant audience.
The pair decided to give the fans a snippet of what a collaboration between them would look like, as they performed Yemi’s hit single “Oh my gosh”.
Tiwa had earlier published a roll call of artistes to feature at her concert, unsurprisingly excluding Yemi Alade as the pair are known to have never worked together since their foray into the entertainment industry.
With the surprise move, it appears as though their relationship is more professional than many make it out to be.
Both artistes have never put out a joint body of work but with Monday’s surprise, some fans are already thinking of the possibility of a collaboration in 2020.
