President Muhammadu Buhari has issued a directive restricting all Ministers to eight foreign trips in a year.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Lai Mohammed, who said that no Minister would be allowed more than two trips outside the country in each quarter.
Among the directives issued was the cap on the number of aides allowed to accompany each Minister. Not more than four aides relevant to the assignment are to be on the trip.
Officials other than Ministers are to travel with fewer aides, and estacodes would not be calculated on hourly basis.
