Special Adviser to Edo State Governor on Political Matters,Chief Osaro Idah, has alleged that All Progressives Congress Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole prevented Governor Godwin Obaseki from nominating Edo indigenes for federal appointments.
He said this at a ward leaders’ meeting in Oredo LGA of Edo State.
He said Oshiomhole continued to interfere with appointents which the State governor was supposed to have a say in.
According to him, of the eight federal slots allocated to Edo State, Obaseki made one recommendation which was rejected following Oshiomhole’s interference.
He said, “Edo had eight slots for its indigenes for federal appointments, but Comrade Adams Oshiomhole filled all the positions. The only nominee the governor submitted for National Population Commission (NPC), Comrade Oshiomhole replaced him with his person.”
