Instagram comedian and skit maker, Dami Olatunde has declared his love for Nigeria following the draft call for the US military service which he reportedly received.
The skit maker popularly known Aphrican Ace took to his Twitter handle to share the news and said he wants to turn in his American passport.
He tweeted: “Just got a draft call for the war…shiiiii….I’ve not even been a citizen up to 6 months yet, and you people want me to come and go and die. Abeg where do I turn in this blue passport, i dont want again. I’m Nigerian till the day I die and I love Nigeria with all my heart!”
“Me showing how patriotic I am to my beloved country, NIGERIA, ahead of the WW3 draft!! Am isn’t Amereecan, see eye cyant even spelle welle or spoken goode engleesh…stop calling my dug on phone to draft.”
The Immigration and Nationality Act (I.N.A.) allows people born in other countries to gain U.S. citizenship through military service — in some cases without going through the usual preliminary step of getting a U.S. green card (lawful permanent resident).
Olatunde just welcomed a baby with his wife.
