Another Kogi Politician Dies

Former Commissioner for Finance in Kogi State, Chief Joseph Noah Molemodile on Thursday, passed away in his home in Jos, Plateau State.

Molemodile died while resting after a light morning exercise.

His death comes two days after Vice Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in Kogi West, Kola Taiwo Ojo (Barr.) died after playing lawn tennis.

Molemodile was a member of the All Progressives Congress, and served as Legal Adviser.

Friends and well-wishers sent condolences, expressing sadness at the loss of a father figure.

Ex-Governor Audu Abubakar’s son Prince Mohammed Audu described him as “another father of mine.”

Popular politician James Faleke, said: “So sad to lose him at this period. He was a very dedicated and committed man to our late leader, Prince Abubakar Audu and he remained with the struggle. May his soul rest in peace.”
