The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arraigned Senator Shehu Sani.
The former representative of Kaduna Central in the Senate has been arraigned on a two -count charge of bribery and advance free fraud.
The arraignment was made at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday.
Counsel to Sani, A. Ibrahim demanded bail for his client who pleaded not guilty.
The EFCC’s counsel prayed the court for time to study the bail application as the commission claimed to have been served recently.
Presiding judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo suspended the bail hearing application.
Shehu Sani was arrested by the EFCC on December 31st, 2019 for allegedly defrauding one Alhaji Sani Dauda, owner of ASD Motors.
