Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy on Sunday, lost the 62nd Grammy Awards “Best World Music Album” to Beninese singing legend, Angelique Kidjo.
The ceremony held at the Staples Center, Los Angeles. Kidjo and Burna were nominated for their “Celia” and “African Giant” albums respectively.

If burna boy was previledge to have 3 No.1 hits, 14 top 10 hits on billboard and the award was given to Angelique kidjo with 0 No1 hit, 0 top 10 hits and just 1song on billboard that peaked at #104 that is when you can say burna was robbed. Aside that, keep Shut! pic.twitter.com/unQGfDb4BD

So I decided to listen to few tracks from Angelique Kidjo’s Album & I must say Burna Boy is really an African Giant to be nominated alongside that woman.
Burna still gat more than enough time to put in more effort inorder to do better. He’s capable, he’s a winner too. #GRAMMYs

I'm really happy Burna lost the Grammy to Angelique Kidjo, cos if he had won, even God can testify Wizkid would have been on the trend table right now cos of some MOFOs on this App. Now that he lost, we can breath.
If you do any preaching for me here, OGUN kiss you.#GRAMMYs

Although he didn’t win the #GRAMMYAwards2020, I am very proud of the recognition that @burnaboy has received on the world stage today. Angelique Kidjo dedicating her win to him is the definition of grace and class. Burna is just 28. He will come again. Una know say him special.

Whoever feels Burna Boy was cheated out should have their brain checked. Even burna’s most famous song is a sample off Angelique Kidjo grammy-winning album. We should stay guided.
