Former Senator representing Kaduna Central in the Senate, Shehu Sani, has perfected his bail conditions and regained freedom from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The embattled former lawmaker is on trial on counts of bribery and fraud for allegedly obtaining $25,000 from one Alhaji Sani Dauda to bribe EFCC acting Chairman, and the Chief Justice of the Federation.
Sani was arrested on December 31st, 2019, and had been in detention for four weeks.
Sani was granted a N10m bail on Monday.
Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja granted Sani bail after he pled not guilty to both charges.
