General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, today, led members of his church on a prayer walk to protest insecurity in the nation.
The protest held across various locations in the country as members of RCCG parishes marched around their environs bearing banners and flyers.
The G.O. of the church began the walk at the church’s headquarters in Ebute-Metta and ended it at Atan Cemetery in Yaba Metropolis before returning to the church.
The Christian Association of Nigeria had organised a three-day fast beginning from January 31st to support the efforts of the government and security agencies.
RCCG is currently running a fasting and prayer programme of its own for 50 days, and is expected to end on the 29th of February.
Many worshippers were seen walking around various parts of Lagos in corporation with the G.O.’s directive.
