Boko Haram: Borno Residents Boo Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari, during a condolence visit to Borno state, was booed by a crowd of residents.

In a viral video on Twitter, the crowd chanted “Bama yi, Bama so” (We don’t want, We are not doing) as Buhari’s convoy drove through Maiduguri.

The boos are believed to have been the way the residents expressed their disenchantment about an attack by Boko Haram last Sunday in Maiduguri, which left 30 dead people while several women and children were abducted.
