Suspects of Abuja Bank robbery being dragged from the scene of the crime

Five suspects have been arraigned for allegedly robbing the Mpape, Abuja branch of First Bank on December 28, 2019.

The men who were caught at the scene of the failed crime we Arraigned at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Wise Zone 2, Abuja on Friday.

The suspects, Ehizo Larry, Princewill Obinna, Ernest Ewin, Timothy Joe and Elijah David all pleaded not guilty to a five-count charge.

Prosecuting counsel, James Idachaba prayed the Justice Ajoke Adepoju-led court to remand them in custody until the prosecution presented it’s case.

He requested a grace of one week to do this.

He also said his case was easy as all men had been caught at the scene of the crime.

The prosecution said it had listed seven witnesses to help its case.

The matter was adjourned till March 13.
