You Will Be Built And Equipped For The Future – VC Assures Students
The Vice Chancellor of KolaDaisi University, Professor Kolade Luke Ayorinde has urged the 2020 fresh students to utilize the many opportunities available at the institution.
Prof. Ayorinde made the call in a speech presented during the orientation of fresh students
He congratulated the students but warned them not to “infringe on the freedom they’ll be given at the institution as it is not absolute.”
He said, “You are likely to be admitted into this University not just because you passed your examinations but because you have someone who can sponsor you in a private University such as ours. I therefore urge you to make use of the opportunities being made available to you.

“The University is founded on values. It aspires to produce scholars who embody Excellence, Accountability and Transparency, Social responsibility, Innovation, Integrity and Freedom.
“You will be assisted to be the very best you want to be as we make ourselves available to teach, train, mentor, guide, and guard you throughout your stay. I assure you of the dedication and readiness of both the academic and non-academic staff of the University. So feel free to contact us for guidance and counselling.
Ayorinde said further, “although there will be challenges but I assure you of success. However, this is predicated on your ability to cooperate and collaborate with us. So the question is; Are you at KolaDaisi University, Ibadan to sail through the University or to drift along? Are you here to undergo meaningful change or to simply walk in through the main gate, hovering around then walk out through the back without leaving any impression?
“Know the purpose and reason of being here. Spend your time wisely. Develop and maintain the skills to study. Study carefully the University academic guidelines and regulations. Digest the students’ information handbook so as not to run foul of University rules and regulations. Shun all forms of vices,” he advised.
