Kyari-Led Delegation Visits Katsina Over Banditry

A delegation led by the Chief of Staff of the Federation, Abba Kyari, has visited Katsina State to commiserate with the people over Friday’s bandit attack.

The presidency confirmed the visit in a statement issued by spokesman, Garba Shehu on Tuesday.

Receiving the delegates were Katsina Governor, Aminu Masari, and Emir, Abdulmumuni Usman.

Bandits had attacked the State on Friday and killed 31 people.

The President, in a condolence message delivered by Kyari, prayed that God comforts the victims.

He assured that his administration was committed to ensuring security across the nation.

Katsina State Governor, Masari, said the solution to banditry was education and he would continue to ensure adequate education across the state.

He thanked the President for sending a delegation.
