Nigerians Berate NIMC Over Unavailability Of National Identity Cards
Tobi Adebayo
Nigerians on social media are condemning the National Identity Management Commission over the unavailability of permanent National Identity cards.
The commission had posted a picture of boxing champion, Anthony Joshua registering for his National Identity Number (NIN) on their official Twitter page, an action which sparked criticism from other Nigerians.
Twitter users complained about the unavailability of temporary slips, permanent IDs and the attitude of NIMC staff towards the registration of Nigerians.

China built this hospital in just 10 days.

You have now elevated a slip to means of identification because of your inability to issue National ID cards. Shame! https://t.co/NQBv7BxoZd

Anthony Joshua applied for his National ID card today and believe me when I say it’ll be handed to him before the end of today or tomorrow because he’s not like “You and I”.
In this Nigeria just have money, if not you will suffer.
