N400M Fraud: Judge Begins Reading Metuh’s Judgement

The Federal High Court in Abuja has commenced its judgement in the trial of a former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh.

Metuh was charged with fraudulently receiving the sum of N400m from the Office of the National Security Adviser in 2014, under the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

The presiding judge, Justice Abang, in his opening remarks, asked everyone in the court to cooperate in order for the proceedings ro go smoothly.

“It has not been easy, we’ve come a long way. I only know when I start the judgement, I don’t know when it will end,” the judge said.
