Man To Die By Hanging For Killing “Dangote”

A man identified as Yakubu Dalha of Tsangaya Village in Albasu Local Government has been sentenced to death by hanging for killing another man, Zakariyau Bala during an argument.

A Kano High Court sitting presided by Justice Yusuf Ubale Mohammed convicted Yakubu over his role in the death of Bala, aka Dangote.

Bala reportedly died as a result of the injuries he sustained on his head and shoulder after Yakubu struck him with firewood during an argument bordering on politics.

A medical official, Dr Abdulkareem Sule, attached to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital in his testimony said that “Dangote” arrived the hospital dead.
