The Ekiti Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps passed by the House of Assembly on February 14th will be signed into law by Governor Kayode Fayemi next week.
Ekiti State Commissioner for Information, Muyiwa Olumilua, annouced this on Tuesday. He said the bill is top priority for Dr. Fayemi
The bill, awaiting the governor’s assent, was passed by the Assembly after going through normal legislative process, including the first and second readings as well as public hearing.
Olumilua said the Amotekun bill will be committed for executive assent next week to faciltate effective implementation.
