Sanusi To Chair LASU 24th Convocation
The deposed Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, is set to grace the 24th Convocation Lecture of the Lagos state University (LASU), as the Chairman of the occasion.
The University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun (SAN) made this known during a press briefing on the activities lined up for the ceremony.

Fagbohun revealed that plans for Sanusi to chair the event had been concluded before recent developments regarding the stool in Kano.
He added that several people who have played part in the development of infrastructure and the growth of the school would be honoured with edifices and streets being named after them.
The list of dignitaries to be honoured includes Former Governors of Lagos, Bola Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola, Senator Remi Tinubu, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Mr Aderemi Makanjuola, Justice Opeyemi Oke, Dr Oba Otudeko and Mr Segun Agbaje of Guaranty Trust Bank.
