Coronavirus: NASS Suspends Public Hearing, Excursions

The National Assembly has suspended all public hearings from Tuesday, March 24, until further notice to strengthen efforts against the spread of coronavirus in the country.
This was announced by the President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan on Thursday during plenary.
The senate also suspended excursions to the National Assembly and shut the Senate gallery where visitors and journalists observe plenary proceedings until further notice.
Senator Lawan, however, did not announce the suspension of plenary in the Senate.
