Coronavirus: Malaysia Returnee In Katsina Tests Negative

Katsina State Commissioner for Health, Engineer Nuhu Yakubu, has announced that the state’s suspected case of the deadly coronavirus tested negative.

Yakubu disclosed the development to journalists on Thursday.

The State Government on Wednesday announced that the suspected case, a Malaysia returnee, was exhibiting symptoms similar to that of the deadly virus and was taken to the hospital for tests.

Katsina state is part of the nine North West states that have ordered closure of both private and public schools to contain the spread of the virus in the region.
