The Lagos State government has directed that all tertiary institutions across Lagos State be shutdown indefinitely.
A press release signed by the the Office of the Special Adviser on Education, the Special Adviser, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab said the shut down
was part of adopted measures to curtail the spread of coronaVirus (COVID-19).
He urged all students of; Lagos State University; Lagos State Polytechnic; Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education; Michael Otedola College of Primary Education; Lagos State College of Health Technology; and Lagos State College of Nursing and Midwifery, to immediately vacate the school premises in compliance with the directive.
“This decision is in the best interest of the students as their safety is paramount to the government”, Wahab said.
