The Lagos State Environmental Protective Agency, LASEPA says it has closed some clubs and event centres for defying the government order for gatherings not to exceed a maximum of 20 people, an order necessary for curtailing the coronavirus disease.
The state government, last week , gave this directives after recording more cases of the deadly disease.
Regency Hall, Imperial Hall, Matinos Hall and Suites, Famcity Club, Lekki Xhale and Shisha Lounge were the facilities locked up by LASEPA.

Speaking, the General Manager of the Agency, Dolapo Fasawe, stated that the agency was contacted by over 70 concerned residents who complained that their neighbours organised social gatherings with over 200 participants.
