Comedian Ayo Makun, better known as AY, has stated that the deadly coronavirus would have a positive impact on some sectors, especially the health sector.
Although, AY didn’t clarify his reason for stating that, but a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday suggested that he meant that the people in authority would be forced to invest more in the health sector because of the fear of coronavirus.
He further advised that politicians with coronavirus should be taken to the poor health centres they built for the poor masses.
He said: “All the politicians testing positive should be taken to the poor health centers they initially left for the masses.
“Either we like it or not, the COVID-19 will have a positive impact on the Nigeria system of government, particularly the health sector.”
Nigeria has recorded 46 cases since the virus struck the nation. A breakdown of the cases reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, will help Nigerians understand how critical the situation is.
Notable Nigerians like the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari and son of Atiku Abubakar, tested positive for coronavirus.
