Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to provide economic relief to Nigerians following the curfew imposed on three states by the Federal Government.
Yul Edochie via his Instagram page appealed to President Buhari to give at least N50,000 to each Nigerians.
“Dear President @MBuhari Pls provide an economic relief package for Nigerians, even if it’s 50k each, it will go a long way.People are hungry, locked down with no money, begging left, right & centre. With the situation like this, it’ll be difficult to keep people at home.”
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday, ordered the payment of stipends to vulnerable citizens across the country.
The President made this known during a live transmission to Nigerians on Sunday evening.
He said the two-month stipends was to help the vulnerable people in buying basic needs during the self-isolation period.
“For the most vulnerable in our society, I have directed that the conditional cash transfers for the next two months be paid immediately.”
