Chairman of Amen Estates, Babatunde Gbadamosi has apologised for breaking Lagos state’s ban on public gatherings by attending actress Funke Akindele’s party.
This was following the arrest of Akindele by the LASG for flouting the no public gatherings of more than 20 by celebrating her husband, JJC Skillz birthday which had more than 20 guests in attendance.
The former Lagos Guber aspirant, in a video, apologised for not leaving when the crowd started stretching its limit.
Gbadamosi claimed that himself and his wife thought they were only going to meet the actress’ family and their staff but several minutes later, “a celebrity artiste and some group of people arrived.”
Akindele, in an apology video, had claimed that all those that attended the party were already self-isolating in the residential estate before the Federal Government’s lockdown order took effect.
