One of those who is being speculated to be appointed as Chief of Staff to the president, Alhaji Ismaila Isa Funtua has said he is not interested in the job.
Since the demise of the former CoS, a few names including that of Futua are being mentioned as having a chance to get the job.
But 78-year-old elder statesman, who has held some public positions in the past, said in his reaction: “I am an employer of labour and, therefore, unemployable.
”I was a minister in 1983. What position will I be interested in now? I am embarrassed that a national newspaper could display such level of ignorance by connecting me with the Chief of Staff job.”
