Motorists Sleep In Their Cars As Police Enforce Curfew In Lagos (Video)

There was drama on Tuesday night as motorists who violated the curfew order in Lagos state were forced to sleep on the road as police enforce curfew strictly in the state.

The Federal Government had declared a nationwide curfew between 8 pm to 6 am, as part of the measures to contain the spread of the COVID-19.

Motorists including VIPs were forced to spend the night in their cars at Osborne Road in the Ikoyi area of the state.

According to reports, the IGP Mohammed Adamu had summoned police in the state to enforce the curfew with stringent measures.

However, all essential workers including medical personnel, firefighters, ambulance services, journalists, etc are exempted from the restriction of movement associated with both the partial lockdown and the national curfew across the country.
