Zamfara Lawmaker Dies At 60

A lawmaker representing Bakura Local Government Constituency, Tukur Jekada, has died at the age of 60.

Tukur died on Sunday evening after a brief illness.

He was the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs until his death.

The remains of the lawmaker was buried in his hometown, Birnin Tudu in Bakura Local Government Area of the state.
