COVID-19: India To Evacuate Its Nationals From Nigeria

The High Commission of India has announced that 312 Indian nationals would be evacuated from Nigeria on Friday as COVID-19 continues to ravage globally

The Commission made the announcement via its Twitter account.

It said that Nigerian airline, Air Peace would convey the evacuees and bring back stranded Nigerians from India as well.

“Enabled the repatriation today of 312 Indian nationals from Lagos and Port Harcourt by Air Peace, their third direct flight to India in two weeks, which will also evacuate Nigerians from India,” the tweet read.

There are currently 7.27M cases of COVID-19 worldwide with 413k recorded deaths.

India has a total of 298K recorded cases with 147K recoveries and 8,498 deaths.
