Auto Crash Claims Four Lives In Ibadan

No fewer than four lives were lost on Wednesday, July 1, near popular Aleshinloye Market, Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

The accident which involved an articulated vehicle and two commercial motorcycles left the four women dead and several injured.

The articulated vehicle belonging to dairy company, Fan Milk, was said to have rammed into the vehicles.

Reports have it that the articulated vehicle had a brake failure and veered off its lane crushing a Micra car and the motorcycles.

The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Gbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the incident said four women died instantly while other four were injured.

Fadeyi said, “The accident involved a Fan milk truck, a Nissan Micra and 2 motorcycles. Four women died on the spot and four other people got injured.”
